This was Dad and Kait's night out in the big city of Indianapolis. It was her turn to have a night out with Dad and since Mike has taken the other two kids to Conseco for special events, Kait was up for a turn. They reported having a terrific time and Mike got some great pics to bring home. My favorite is the pic of Kait and Larry Bird. He is sooooooo tall, especially to my sweetie all of 5'2"...Hee hee! She would be upset to know that I blogged her height. She has become sensitive to her height since a lot of her peers are now almost a head taller. I say look on the bright side, she can wear high heels without one care:) I think Mike and I have come up with a plan for a wall of Fame in the basement. We have autographed sports tickets, Jersey's , Basketballs and Pics with celebrites and good times with friends to display. I just have to make the time to complete the lengthy TO DO list. Well, enjoy the pics!

Grant's Spring Play
Grant was a blue raindrop second from the right. What a cute Spring Play it was! Grant's teacher, Mrs. Nixon is so creative. This is the second school play that Grant's class has put on this year. The first was Nursery Rhymes and it was cute as well. The coustumes are amazing! We really enjoyed watching this play. The kids all had many speaking parts individually and together as a group. Pretty impressive! Wee Wisdom Nursery/Preschool prepared my kids well for speaking parts and the Stage. Hope the pics transfer in with this post otherwise they will follow. Still trying to grasp the complexity of this new blogging hobby. Till next post, Avwah!

Taylor's State Meet (Gymnastics 2009)
Well, after returning from NY we went to New Castle Field House to watch Tay compete for State. Mamaw and Grampa came to watch too. It was amazing to watch how well Tay did and how far she has come! Her daddy and I couldn't be more proud. She came home with a participation medal and medals in 3 events (uneven bars, beam, vault) plus an All Around medal!!!! How exciting! She did not know how to react. Her floor routine suffers some d/t her not having her bridge kick over skill quite yet. She is working hard to obtain that skill. She has been moved back up with her team to level 4 after having a heart to heart with the coaches and the head coach of Tay's gym. Thank God for that little miracle. That was stressful, but never the less we ultimately got what we hoped for and are Thankful. She will have to work hard on a couple level 3 skills and press forward with her new level 4 skills all at the same time. Time is on our side, we don't start competing again until end of this year, so she can work hard thru this summer and we have every bit of confidence that she will meet her goals! Here are some pics of her meet. Enjoy!
NY trip pictures
Well, I have decided to give it a go on posting some pictures from the NY trip that Kait and I took for her Band Competition. I hope this is not too hard because I want to proceed with catching up! Here goes! Wish me luck.
